Home / About Us
Giving hope to orphans and to needy, vulnerable and disabled children in Uganda since 2010.
Jesus Kids Stars Foundation is an indigenous, Christian, non-governmental organisation in Katooke, Nansana, Wakiso District. It began in 2010 as a community-based organisation caring for 10 to 15 vulnerable children from remote families.
Our mission is to give hope to orphans and to needy, vulnerable and disabled children through medical care, good feeding, quality education, shelter, clothing, counselling and guidance, vocational skills and spiritual growth.
We also support poverty eradication, widows, the empowerment of women, programmes for people with disabilities, and sanitation and health awareness.

Jesus Kids Stars Foundation began as a small outreach ministry in Kawempe, founded by Pastor Simon Gitta Kasirivu. Since childhood he had a passion for helping the needy, and dreamed of the day he could do it himself.
His mother died when he was very young, and his father did not value education. A Good Samaritan, his sponsor Nantaze, a Ugandan then living in Germany, paid for his studies.
When he finished school he asked her how he could repay her kindness. Her reply was simple: “Do to others what has been done to you.” It was the confirmation of what the Lord had placed in his heart, and Jesus Kids Stars Foundation was born.
